As COVID-19 restrictions continue to loosen across Ontario, some say public health officials failed to stress the importance of third doses.
According to Public Health Ontario data up to Feb. 27, only 47.3 per cent of all residents have received a third dose. More than 5.5 million people have had two doses without getting a third yet, though children haven’t all been eligible.
After two editions disrupted and scaled down because of the pandemic, the 2022 Ottawa Bluesfest lineup plans for a return to 10 days of music at LeBreton Flats in July. Executive director Mark Monahan says it will follow the province’s lead at the time when it comes to COVID rules.
A group that advocates for seniors’ rights in Quebec is calling on the owners of private senior’s residences to reimburse their tenants for services they lost as a result of COVID-19 health restrictions such as pools, gyms and recreation rooms.
