Quebec Premier François Legault will hold a COVID-19 news conference at 2 p.m. ET where he is expected to announce a slight easing of some pandemic restrictions, specifically for restaurants and sports.
Ottawa’s Board of Health, a city councillor and civilian group that approves Ottawa Public Health’s policies, unanimously voted last night to have Medical Officer of Health Dr. Vera Etches talk to the province about having three doses be the requirement for adult vaccine passports.
Etches said it could be a fit for certain people and places and as a way to push third dose coverage higher.
