At CIHI, we know that good data helps inform good decisions. In March 2020, as the country began to implement measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we mobilized to gather and analyze data to gauge how the virus was impacting Canada’s health care systems. We have spent the last year collaborating with federal, provincial and municipal partners to provide data to help inform difficult decisions and improve the health of Canadians.
