AHF Releases New Study on Lateral Violence

The Aboriginal Healing Foundation’s latest publication—Origins of Lateral Violence in Aboriginal Communities: A preliminary study of student-to-student abuse in residential schools—is the first to look at peer abuse in the residential schools. Drawing from the professional expertise of service providers who were interviewed for this work, Origins of Lateral Violence in Aboriginal Communities is intended to be a starting point for a discussion on a very sensitive topic.
