Toronto, August 1, 2014 – Representatives from Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) will join the Grand Chief of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) to sign a Relationship Protocol, a key initiative of CCO’s Aboriginal Cancer Strategy II. The protocol establishes a commitment to work together to improve cancer care for First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
Harvey Yesno, Grand Chief, NAN, Michael Sherar, President and CEO of CCO, and Mark Henderson, Regional Vice-President of the North West Regional Cancer Program will be available to speak to media following the signing.
