…beginning Monday January 25th, from 6 – 8:00 pm at the Katarokwi Native Friendship Centre, located at 50 Hickson Avenue . Please pass this information along to your friends, family and elders who are of Aboriginal descent, as we would love to have them attend. The sessions are being facilitated by Lynn Brant, Aboriginal Nurse Practitioner working out of (NACHC) Napanee Area Community Health Centre, and Carol Loft, Diabetes Educator who works for (SOADI) the Southern Ontario Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative.You can see below a list of the topics covered for each session. It is through the sharing of life experiences that we truly grow, learn, and make meaningful changes.

Mar 15th – Session 6: An Overview of Stroke and Wrap Up Celebration!
A light meal is being provided, either a traditional soup, stew, chilli or chowder.
The facilitators have a variety teaching aids at their disposal, and we see these sessions as being very interactive. Limited childcare is available.
