Announcement: As of March 31, 2010, the funding from the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research to NEARBC will cease.

We are pleased to announce that as of April 1, 2010, NEARBC will remain a program of the Centre for Aboriginal Health Research (CAHR) at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, please see www.cahr.uvic.ca for more details on CAHR.

NEARBC will maintain some programs including our website which will remain active maintaining weekly updates on many of its popular resources as well as, by popular demand, the continued distribution or the NEARBC weekly e-news.As of April 1st 2010, the NEARBC website will be relaunched athttp://cahr.uvic.ca/nearbc. The existing domain ww.nearbc.ca will automatically forward all visitors to this new home on the CAHR website, until November of this year.

At this time, NERABC would like to gratefully acknowledge the National Collaborating Centre for Aboriginal Health at the University of Northern British Columbia for their funding contribution, without it, the survival of this program would not be possible.
