Quinte Mohawk School Boil Water Advisory Lifted

The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte are pleased to announce that Health Canada has lifted the boil water advisory from Quinte Mohawk School (QMS). Health Canada has confirmed that the water samples collected at QMS have tested at acceptable levels in accordance with the Guidelines for Canada Drinking Water Quality. Water testing will continue to be conducted on a regular basis by the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) and the results will be provided to both Health Canada and the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte.We thank the community, parents, all of our contractors, and especially the children of QMS, for their patience throughout the process of ensuring safe clean water to Quinte Mohawk School.
