Creativity + Research = Positive Action Wise Practices III

Deadline has been extended to December 6 2010 for all scholarships, Registration and Abstract submissions.

Wise Practices III is a research based gathering that is held every 2 years that brings together academics, front line services providers and APHA’s for a 2 ½ day gathering consisting of workshops and research sessions discussing research being done in the Aboriginal community regarding HIV and AIDS.We are looking forward to having a wide range of topics discussed this year at the gathering and are hoping to engage people from all of our diverse communities to contribute to making the gathering a big hit!

There are a limited number of full scholarships available for people needing assistance to attend. We are requesting abstract submissions for everyone wishing to present a workshop or research findings. Also, there will be exhibition tables for anyone wishing to display materials from their organizations or crafts which they would like to sell during the gathering. If you are interested in attending please visit the CAAN website to find the forms and more details at www.caan.ca.
