Dr. Janet McElhaney brings expertise in helping aging First Nations, Inuit and Métis people

Dr. Janet McElhaney, a researcher at Health Sciences North, has been appointed to the Institute Advisory Board for Indigenous Peoples’ Health, a federal organization that provides advice on supporting the health and wellness of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada

“[McElhaney was appointed because] of everything she’s done over the last several years, and I’m happy for the research institute,” said hospital CEO Denis Roy.

McElhaney brings expertise in helping aging First Nations, Inuit and Metis people, Roy said.
