NunatuKavut: Guy Poole’s 2016 walk in support of diabetes research

Since 2006, Guy Poole has walked over 2300 km in memory of his late wife Liz and has raised over $100,000 in support of diabetes research.

This year, Guy began his walk in Gander on September 3 and will finish up in St. John’s this week. If you are in the St. John’s area, we encourage you to join Guy on the last couple of legs of his walk between 5:00 am – 4:00 p.m.

Here is the schedule:

Day 10, Monday, September 12– Middle Gull Pond to Soldier’s Pond Sub-Station
Day 11, Tuesday, September 13– Soldier’s Pond Sub-Station to Clover Leaf (Exit 41)
Day 12, Wednesday, September 14– Clover Leaf (Exit 41) to St. John’s City Hall
