On behalf of the A.N.A.C.’s Board of Directors and organizing committee you are invited to submit an abstract for presentation at the 32 nd A.N.A.C. Conference “Embracing the Diverse Roles of Aboriginal Nursing”. The theme’s addressed for this year include; Cultural Competency, Health Human Resources and Aboriginal Health Nursing.

Please submit your oral, workshop or poster presentations by the deadline, April 4, 2008.

o Oral Presentation will be 30 minutes in length which includes 10 minutes of questions.
o Workshops should be 60 minutes in length and interactive.
o Poster display.

Abstracts must contain the following information:

o Title of presentation
o Type of Presentation (poster, oral or workshop)
o Presenter(s)/Author(s) (include bio)
o Contact details
o Audio/Visual requirements

Abstract submission must not be longer than 150 words.

Abstracts meeting on of the following criteria will be given special consideration:

– Submission by First Nations, Inuit or Métis Students;
– Research that measures the effectiveness of innovative health care intervention;
– Research that involves exemplary partnerships between researchers and First Nations; Inuit and Métis communities.

All abstracts must be submitted in electronic format (Word) to:
