Who should attend?

Front line workers, professionals, students, youth, people living with HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis C, addictions counselors, Chiefs/Council members, physicians and any community member who wants to make a difference.Keynote Speaker – Colby Tootoosis

Colby is Cree/Assiniboine from the Poundmaker Cree Nation. Presently, Colby is a Journey Work Practitioner, Grief and Recovery Specialist and a Certified Life Skills Coach. He has been working in communities providing crisis counseling as well as providing Life Skills Programming for various agencies and First Nations. Colby is also an associate of Red Echo and at times has worked as a Crisis or Counseling response team member with his parents, Arsene and Kimberly Tootoosis. Colby continues to promote and dive into the Journey Work Practice with the goal to bring in into our schools making it a natural helping process for children and individuals.

Other Features: Grand Entry with Flags and honor songs for People living with HIV/AIDS and HCV. Traditional ceremonies by local Elders, counseling available throughout the conference. Displays with current resources and tools.
