London, ON – The Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians’ (AIAI) is holding their Annual Meeting of the Health/Social Advisory Board (H/SAB) with the AIAI Chiefs Council at the Embassy Suites in Niagara Falls, Ontario on April 17th and 18th.
Each year, the H/SAB and the AIAI Chiefs council come together to discuss and create strategies to address the health and social issues impacting AIAI member communities.
This year’s primary focus will be on facilitating collaborative approaches to common issues and to review H/SAB’s Health Law Framework: Taking Back Control of Our Health Systems. H/SAB’s Health Law Framework is a long term strategic plan for health and its purpose is to assist communities in the creation and implementation of their own Health Laws.
